Organic waste collected under our University's Zero Waste system is delivered to relevant companies and subjected to composting.
In addition, organic materials such as tea grounds, vegetable scraps, and other kitchen waste generated in our cafeterias and social facilities are specially collected by our students for both educational purposes and the production of worm compost (vermicompost).
Thanks to this process, these valuable wastes are converted into vermicompost with high nutritional value, providing a practical contribution to biology and environmental science applications, as well as making a significant contribution to waste management.
