Campus Fauna

Bartın University implements a systematic fauna monitoring and conservation program under the leadership of the Department of Forest Entomology and Protection. This program focuses on documenting and protecting the wildlife diversity in the Kutlubey and Ağdacı campuses, which serve as habitats for various bird, mammal, and insect species. Regular monthly ornithological observations are carried out to track bird migrations and population density. The University collaborates with National Parks for educational and genetic conservation purposes, as well as for broader regional biodiversity projects. The current situation indicates a healthy coexistence between campus life and wildlife.
