National Greenmetric Workshop

2nd "GreenMetric" Turkey National Workshop was held on 4-5 October 2019, at the Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University.

GreenMetric (Green Measurements) is evaluating the environmental practices of  World Universities in terms of sustainability.  Turkey National Workshop was hosted by the University of Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit. The workshop was held at Sezai Karakoc Cultural Center between 4-5 October. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çufalı(Rector of Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit), Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alişarlı(Rector of Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University), Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun(Rector of Bartın University), Prof. Dr. İlhan Genç(Vice-Rector of Düzce University), many academic and administrative participants were attended the Workshop.



1st workshop was held on October 3, 2016, at the Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University.

Prof. Dr. Senol Hakan Kutoglu did the opening speech of the workshop at the Tahir Karauğuz Conference Hall.  After Kutoğlu, GreenMetric President Prof. Dr. Riri Fitri Sari gave information about Green Metric. They celebrated the most environmentally-friendly university, ZBEU, in Turkey. Prof. Tommy Ilyas also shared the details of the application as well as ranking among universities in GreenMetric.
