"GreenMetric" Turkey National Workshop was held on 4-5 October 2019, at the Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University.

GreenMetric (Green Measurements) is evaluating the environmental practices of  World Universities in terms of sustainability.  Turkey National Workshop was hosted by the University of Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit. The workshop was held at Sezai Karakoc Cultural Center between 4-5 October. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çufalı (Rector of Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit), Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alişarlı (Rector of Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University), Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun (Rector of Bartın University), Prof. Dr. İlhan Genç (Vice-Rector of Düzce University), many academic and administrative participants were attended to the Workshop.

In addition to the basic categories of GreenMetric ranking, such as building and infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste management, water management, transportation and education, the workshop also discussed zero waste project applications, environmental activities, and social responsibility projects about the environment.
