BARÜ Signed the 'Sustainable and Climate Friendly Campus' Protocol

The first applications within the scope of the protocol signed between the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) will be implemented in 10 universities, including Bartın University (BARÜ).

At the ceremony held at the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), the “Cooperation Protocol in the Field of Creating a Sustainable and Climate-Friendly Campus” covering energy efficiency, renewable energy, sustainability and nature-friendly activities on university campuses was signed.

Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Fatih Dönmez, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, and President of YÖK Prof. Dr. With the protocol signed by Erol Özvar, it was announced that the first applications would be made in 10 universities, including Bartın University (BARÜ).

At the ceremony held in the YÖK White Hall, BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Along with Orhan Uzun, the rectors of Middle East Technical, Istanbul Technical, Yıldız Technical, Ege, Gazi, Karabük, Van Yüzüncü Yıl, Niğde Ömer Halis Demir and Selçuk universities were also present.
