Our University's Faculty of Forestry and the Directorate of Küre Mountains National Parks has established a program against harmful moths with light traps which are used for the first time in Turkey was launched.

In the Küre Mountains National Park within the borders of Bartın and Kastamonu, the University of Bartın Faculty of Forestry and the Küre Mountains National Park Directorate started a struggle against the Cydalima perspectalis butterfly known as ‘Boxwood moth' which damaged the trees.
