5 thousand juvenile carp fish were released to the natural pond created in Kutlubey Campus.

With the new approach of "Sustainable Green Campus", 5 thousand juvenile carp fish were dropped by Bartın Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry in the natural pond created by accumulating rainwater in the Kutlubey Campus of our University. The juvenile fish brought to Bartın from the Mediterranean Fisheries Research and Education Institute.

Vice-Rector Yazıcı, stating that they show great sensitivity to ensure the sustainable use of water and aquaculture resources and to leave them as a legacy to future generations. At Bartın University, we are making great efforts to improve our campuses and to create a living space among the beauties of nature. In this context, by creating a natural pond where rainwater accumulates, all of our components together with our students have a place where they can have a good time in our high quality of life and nature-friendly campus.
